Essential Job Duties:
3rd shift position. The Operator operates machines that tap pipe or blanks. The machines must be set properly for the blanks being tapped. The Operator is responsible for loading the blanks into loading hopper per the production schedule. The operator may be responsible for running multiple machines.
The operator must change the taps on the machines as needed to maintain the quality of the part.
The operator must also perform required maintenance checks. All operators are responsible for keeping accurate production records, which are recorded in the computer planning system. If the computer system is down or the operator ran a special part, the records are handwritten on cards by the operator. The operator is responsible for meeting established production standards.
Benefits & Compensation:
- Starting pay rate $19.30
- Monday - Thursday, 8:30pm - 6:30am (four 10hr days)

Required Skills:
- Operate Forklift
- Requires constant standing and walking (up to 10 hours per day)
- Repetitive use of both hands (up to 10 hours per day)
- Requires repetitive twisting
- Repetitive reaching at and above shoulder level and bending at the waist
- Working with water soluble coolant and oil
- An awareness of exposed cuttings and moving parts on the machine
- Lifting up to 30 lbs.
