As per NJ Civil Services Job Specifications: 01864 Under direction of a Cook, Head Cook, Food Service Supervisor, or other supervisory official, does the tasks involved in preparing and serving food, and/or in cleaning food service facilities and equipment; does other related duties as required.•Serves food from the steam tables or from other cooking utensils and arranges and delivers trays.•Delivers food to dining rooms.•Prepares salads, desserts, and beverages.•Sets tables, changes table linen, and counts dishes, linen, and silverware.•Washes dishes, trays, pots, pans, silverware, and other kitchen and food service equipment.•Washes, scrubs, pares, hulls, cores and prepares vegetables, fruits, and berries for cooking or for serving using manual or power-driven equipment.•Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with residents and staff.Experience:Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.Part-time, 4pm to 8 pm including every weekend.Salary: As per AFSCME 2273 AgreementIf you qualify and would like to be considered, submit a letter of interest and your resume (including daytime phone number and email address) to the email address listed below.
