ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
Natchez Trace Youth Academy, a Universal Health Services, Inc. company, provides comprehensive behavioral health treatment and academic excellence to adolescent males aged 10-17. Our facility is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (http://www.carf.org/) (CARF),which recognizes a commitment to measuring quality and standards of care. Natchez Trace Youth Academy is a highly-structured 115-bed cognitive behavioral program. Our diverse team works together to facilitate the changes that become an investment in the future of each young man's life and his family's life. We are located in the beautiful hills of Tennessee between two magnificent rivers, just 15 miles south of Waverly, Tennessee. Our spacious grounds occupy over 120 acres and include athletic fields, and alpine tower.

Natchez Trace Youth Academy an accredited private school, is currently seeking a Accounting Assistant to process A/P weekly & payroll biweekly to be submitted to Centralized Billing Office (CBO). We look for caring, energetic people who take pride in the quality of instruction and dedication in their work.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Monitors and assists in maintaining A/P contract log.
Prepares Accounts Payable requests electronically on invoices received.
Processes electronic check requests, employee reimbursements and petty cash
Compling, sorting, and reconciliation of vendor statements
Helps in ordering student supplies from $/day accounts
Final payroll and A/P processing occurs at the Nashville Regional Office. The facility level Accounting Assistant position troubleshoots questions related to payroll, A/P, and trains department managers on KRONOS reports

Qualifications
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Accounting preferred
Minimum of two years of Payroll/Accounts Payable experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Valid Driver’s License
