The Electronics Technician – Rapid PCBA will be a part of a team in our Power Tool Electronics Laboratory. Your main responsibility will be populating printed circuit boards to deliver Electronic Prototypes on time, with high quality and with a continuous improvement mindset.

You’ll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Assemble and/or modify prototype PCBAs.

  • Operate soldering equipment typically used for both densely populated SMT circuits as well as wiring for power electronics.

  • Monitor inventory levels for supplies needed.

  • Participate in the continuous improvement and advancement of the build process.

  • Deliver to a deadline by multi-tasking and independently tracking projects.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

  • Assist with other projects as needed.

What TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

  • Associates Degree from a two-year college or technical school. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • 2+ years related experience.

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

  • Entry knowledge of components.

  • Basic IPC knowledge.

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience using and working with Microsoft Excel.

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

  • Experience with automated assembly equipment such as, Pick & Place, Paste Stencil, and Reflow oven.
