JOB REQUIREMENTS: Wausau Window and Wall Systems Position Summary The Inventory Manager will oversee and manage inventory across multiple manufacturing sites to ensure optimal stock levels, efficient resource utilization, and timely production. This role involves developing and implementing inventory control procedures, coordinating with various departments, and using advanced inventory management systems to maintain accurate records and forecasts. Key Responsibilities Inventory Control and Management: Develop and implement inventory control procedures across multiple sites. Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to support production requirements. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Implement and maintain a centralized inventory management system. Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials. Communicate inventory status and needs to relevant stakeholders. Work with operations to address inventory issues and discrepancies. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and make informed decisions. Prepare and present inventory reports to senior management. Use data-driven insights to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency. Develop strategies to minimize excess inventory and reduce waste. Stay updated with industry best practices and integrate them into the inventory management process. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Implement and enforce safety procedures related to inventory handling and storage. Train staff on inventory management best practices and safety protocols. Technology Utilization: Utilize advanced inventory management software and ERP systems. Implement automated solutions to streamline inventory tracking and reporting. Ensure proper maintenance and updates of inventory management systems. Qualifications Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience managing inventory across multiple sites is highly desirable.
