CoVantage Credit Union Loss Mitigation Support Specialist in Wausau, Wisconsin

Description

Are you looking to make an impact in peoples' lives? We are looking for a full-time Loss Mitigation Support Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional support to our Member Solutions (Collections) department. In this role, you will assist the Member Solutions team and work closely with the Member Solutions Support Specialist to maintain and monitor credit bureau reporting, insurance claims, and refund follow-ups.

Job Duties:

  • Provide efficient, professional service to members by fielding phone calls, responding to voicemails, emails, and online messages.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of members, employees, and credit union information.

  • Assist with all aspects of credit reporting, including credit disputes and end of the year 1099c reporting.

  • Provide support with department insurance claims and refund tracking and provide information to members including total loss claims and dealer refunds.

  • Effectively provide support to the Vice President Member Solutions and Team Supervisors in daily assigned activities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or 3 years' experience in collections and/or loan processing.

  • Valid US driver's license is required.

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative capacity is required.

  • Basic understanding of collections.

  • General experience working with 3rd party agencies and maintaining their efficiency.
