JOB REQUIREMENTS: Yard Utility - Waukesha - YARDU001213-00001 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Reports to DC Manager 2. Forklift Certified 3. Assists customers and communicate in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner 4. Prepare (pull, wrap, stage) customer orders 5. Load and unload array of trucks (Flatbed, Vans, Customer Vehicles) 6. Maintain inventory control by pulling correct product and keeping product in proper location and conduct weekly cycle counts 7. Keep Inventory neat and in proper location and inform DC Manager as needed when stock is getting low and in need of reordering 8. Update component location board as new inventory components are added or if yard is rearranged 9. Notify customers when orders are ready for shipping or pick-up 10. Schedule outbound carriers using our TMS on LTL/TL shipments 11.Yard Maintenance (When applies) mow grass, control weeds, clean up leaves and limbs from trees and dispose of, keep dock clean of debris, shovel snowmelt ice from parking lot, sidewalks, and areas around the building to provide safe conditions for employees and customers, etc. 1. Keep garage and contents in neat and orderly condition - this includes lawn mower, weed-eater, bolt bins, shrink wrap, closet supplies, etc. 2. Notify DC Manager of any repairs that need to be done on equipment and if any shipping material or other items such as spray paint, weed killer etc. need to be reordered or purchased 3. Maintain component location signs as needed, repair or replace. 4. Assists in the office when not outside performing other duties. This includes answering phones, assisting customers with quotes, drawings, and orders 5. Adhere to all safety rules and regulations 6. Report any issues or concerns about orders, inventory, carrier, etc. to the DC Manager 7. Perform any other duties as directed by DC Manager 19.Observe all rules of conduct set forth by Neenah Foundry Company.
