Adecco US, Inc. Production Supervisor (Lead) 2nd Shift in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor for our food manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing production operations, ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of all equipment, and leading a team of operators to meet production targets. The role will involve maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, as well as fostering a positive work environment focused on continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:

  • Train, enforce, and ensure adherence to company safety policies and food safety procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

  • Provide training, mentorship, and coaching to staff on the proper set-up and operation of machinery in the assigned department, ensuring the finished product meets all customer and regulatory standards.

  • Clean and sanitize equipment during product changeovers and inspect equipment prior to line start-up and changeovers.

  • Take ownership of department results, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely.

  • Maintain accurate and legible records/documentation of production processes and performance.

  • Direct, motivate, and lead staff to ensure optimal and safe operation of all equipment on the production lines.

  • Communicate with maintenance and quality control teams to ensure seamless production operations and resolve any issues quickly.

  • Assist other departments as needed and perform additional duties as required by management.

  • Attend and complete all company-required training to stay up-to-date on safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; further education or certifications in food manufacturing or related fields preferred.

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a machine operator in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing specifications, quality standards, and food safety regulations (HACCP, GMPs, allergens, and PPE).

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred to communicate effectively with all team members.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment and process issues in partnership with maintenance staff.

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English; basic math and computer skills required.

  • Ability to maintain respectful communication with coworkers at all levels within the organization.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders/stairs.

  • Ability to push/pull up to 2200 lbs of raw materials with a pallet jack.

  • Ability to slide barrels weighing up to 600 lbs from pallets to conveyors.

  • Must be able to reach, lift, stack, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights.

  • Ability to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hairnets, smocks, gloves, etc.

  • Exposure to potential allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, milk, and eggs.

  • Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with temperature variations and noise levels exceeding 85 dB.

Working Conditions:

  • The position is based on the concrete production floor in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.

  • Adherence to GMP guidelines is required when entering the production facility.

  • Packaging Production Lead

  • Roasting/Mixing/Packaging Operators

Pay Range : $24+ per hour, depending on experience
