JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Job Location Wisconsin Centrifugal - Waukesha, WI Position Type Full Time Salary Range \$20.51 - \$30.78 Description Prepare necessary documentation to order tooling and equipment based on inventory records, daily vending reports, job demands, special requests and knowledge of machining. Maintain accuracy and usage of vending machines in MS and assist with vending machines at WC. Maintain proper inventory, update descriptions using vending software, maintain users of machine, generate reports to monitor inventory levels and notify supervisor or lead of changes needing to be made. Build and maintain relationships with all vendors existing and new to hold accountable for quotes, delivery, and competitive pricing. Catalog and store all fixtures, special tooling, and soft jaws for retrieval on future jobs. Record tooling, fixture, and soft jaw status in respective data base. Assist machinists and other employees with requested tools from inventory and overall vending machine operation. Enter tool usage into inventory data base. Follow up on ordered tooling with other WC departments including Purchasing and Accounting to expedite purchases and receive ordered tooling, completing appropriate receiving documentation and contacting necessary parties to correct discrepancies. Utilize computer software to prepare presentations and display data as needed. Inspect tooling returned from shop floor as to condition and make recommendations on need to repair or replace items. Expedite repairs or replacements. Make recommendations to supervisor and machinists on tooling and equipment issues based on tooling/equipment use trends and machining knowledge. Maintain an understanding of machining practices and tooling available as well as new product availability through attending seminars and trade shows. Utilize equipment in tool room to produce internally manufactured items for inventory in the vending system. (I.E. manual lathe operation, manual drill press operation, basic hand tool operation, and tool room saw operation) Assist with production related functions as needed. (I.E. operation of saws and training of employees to operate saw equipment, preplanning- gathering tooling and jaws). Qualifications Strong knowledge of windows operating system required. Familiarity with MAPICS preferred. Must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills and good mechanical aptitude. Inventory experience in a machine shop environment preferred. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Course work in business/accounting maybe helpful.
