Position Hours: FULLTIME 1st shift: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday 6 AM - 6 PM and then Wednesday 6 AM - 12 PM. Position Wage: Starting at \$24 per hour (plus based on experience) Job Description: The Shift Leadman is responsible for ensuring the plant is being run efficiently and safely by ensuring schedules are being met for customers, personnel are properly trained, assisting with production when needed, keeping proper documentation & records, ensuring proper safety equipment & protocol are being utilized, & overall keeping the shop morale high. Being able to not only oversee but being proactive by assisting team members to accomplish the day\'s goals will be crucial. Principle Duties & Responsibilities: Production Work closely with employees on shift to accomplish set schedules & commitments Scheduling of work & communicating as needed with customers Oversee operations on production floor Understand the processing of all material within production areas Ensure plant organization & cleanliness Document all maintenance concerns Coordinate with Maintenance Department for any equipment repairs Document & report all equipment issues to Plant Manager Team Development & Training Working one on one with employees to help in their overall performance Complete semi-annual employee reviews for all team members Provide training, coaching, & disciplinary actions for all team members Maintain documentation of training for employees Conduct startup of new equipment & record all training documents needed Weekly goals assessments of all individuals in temp to hire status Leadership Follow & enforce procedures Complete shift audit forms Manage inter-shift meetings and participate in hourly plant walk-through Ensure adequate shift coverage through employee scheduling & cover hours as needed Bring company phone home to assist in after-hour issues when needed Communicate...
