Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. The primary responsibility will be to assist with imaging laptops and workstations for a large number of new hires as part of our expansion. This role involves deploying new laptops, managing a backlog in our computer refresh project, and providing on-site desktop support to end users. Additionally, you will handle escalations from the helpdesk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Image and deploy laptops and workstations for new hires.

  • Manage and execute the computer refresh project.

  • Provide on-site desktop support to end users.

  • Handle escalations from the helpdesk.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.

  • Assist with hardware installations and configurations.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of IT support or desktop support experience.

  • Experience with imaging tools (PXE/SCCM experience is a plus).

  • Proficiency in Windows 10 troubleshooting.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with Active Directory, MS Suite, and SCCM.

  • Knowledge of desktop hardware and software troubleshooting.
