EXPRESS EMPLOYMENT PROFESSIONALS CNC Operator in WAUKESHA, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Production operations such as mill, drill, face, thread, and occasional profiling and contouring. Operators may run more than one machine simultaneously. Places and secures workpieces in the proper machine table, holding device, or other appropriate surface using clamps and wrenches. Load, operate and manufacture a variety of parts using CNC machining centers to make custom parts according to customer orders and instructions. Checks parts for conformance to customer specifications. Maintain count and perform packaging duties as required. Determine if tools are undamaged and in safe condition for use. Make suggestions to improve production and order processing efficiency. Set up, operate, or tend machines that cut or slice materials, such as glass, stone, cork, rubber, tobacco, food, paper, or insulating material. Review work orders, blueprints, specifications, or job samples to determine components, settings, and adjustments for cutting and slicing machines. Examine, measure, and weigh materials or products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring devices, such as rulers, micrometers, or scales. Press buttons, pull levers, or depress pedals to start and operate cutting and slicing machines. Start machines to verify setups, and make any necessary adjustments.
