Job Purpose
Monitors and improves processes in order to maintain or enhance quality, HSE, service and costs level by troubleshooting (Root Cause) manufacturing processes and is responsible for the industrialization of new products & new manufacturing processes, on a manufacturing site including transfers, MOC\'S and NPI\'S.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitors process performance through metrics such as RFT, MME, OEE, cost productivity, customer complaints, and waste indices, taking action to correct adverse trends and conducting plant-based process investigations.
- Develops improvement plans for process performance through focused improvement activities, capital projects, and other CI/ALPS initiatives in conjunction with the operations group.
- Interfaces with R&D, marketing, supply chain, and central engineering to industrialize new products, raw materials, packaging, and recipe changes, ensuring controlled and managed site changes.
- Provides process expertise during troubleshooting, working hands-on with production operators and quality technicians to resolve issues effectively.
- Executes process studies and pre-projects for capital projects, including scoping and business case development, and transitions projects to the execution team.
- Leads commissioning, start-up, and training for new technologies during project execution and takes ownership of the technology for the site.
- Develops process standardization and works to reduce variability in site processes, ensuring consistent and efficient operations.
- Manages manufacturing-related NPI activity coordination, ensuring seamless integration of new products and processes into existing operations.
- Promotes health, safety, and environmental compliance, ensuring adherence to regulations, corporate standards, and local requirements.
- Participates in and promotes safety programs, including adhering to the Golden Principle to stop work if conditions or behaviors are unsafe and engaging in ISO, life-saving rules, and other safety initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field is required. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or operations, with a strong track record of improving process performance through metrics such as RFT, OEE, and waste indices.
- Proven ability to develop and execute process improvement plans, conduct process studies, and manage pre-project scoping and business case development for capital projects. Experience in industrializing new products, materials, and recipe changes is essential.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with hands-on expertise in resolving production issues. Familiarity with CI/ALPS methodologies, process standardization, and variability reduction is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting health, safety, and environmental compliance, with exp rience in adhering to ISO standards, safety programs, and regulatory requirements. Ability to lead and participate in safety initiatives, including the Golden Principle.
Rewards & Benefits
The annual salary range for these skills is: \$83,000.00 - \$92,000.00 + 7.5% target bonus.This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
