Location

Watertown Jefferson County- NYThis position includes travel locally. Additional travel to corporate headquarters for meetings and training may be necessary. Company-related travel, outside of the standard commute, will be reimbursed.

Hours of Operation

Full-time Monday through Friday with occasional weekend hours.

Overview

Mobile Health is seeking a self-sufficient and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have mid-level experience, with a strong background in occupational health and/or urgent care. This role requires a proactive individual who can function independently and is adept at developing and maintaining community relationships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

· Providing quality occupational health care services to patients in accordance with generally accepted standards of professional practice and the policies of the center.

· Reviewing each client’s medical history upon initial visit to the center and thereafter as appropriate.

· Coordinating onsite medical care and onsite medical interventions as needed.

· Community Liaison: Acts as a community liaison, hosting events and fostering strong community relations. Developing and implementing community outreach programs to promote health and wellness.

· Supervising: Provides clinical supervision and mentorship to Medical Assistants, ensuring high standards of patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations.

· Participating in the center’s performance improvement program which includes a planned and systematic process for monitoring and assessing the quality and appropriateness of patient care and clinical performance.

· Knowledgeable about occupational health policies and regulations that may affect patient care programs.

· Participating in center’s in-service training programs.

· Completing accurate and timely submission of all clinical and professional records in the EMR to assure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory licensure, and accreditation requirements.

· Working to create a positive work culture with cross-departmental teams and aligns this work with other health care initiatives.

· Utilizing established channels of communication and supports team-building efforts.

· Participating in quarterly performance improvement committee meetings.

· Maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.

· Recognizing, accepting, and respecting people as individuals.

· Performing other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education

· Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification

· Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a clinical setting

· Certified by the FMCSA to perform DOT exams or ability to become certified within 90 days of start

· Strong background in occupational health and/or urgent care

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

· Experience in community outreach and event hosting

· Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor support staff

· Possess effective oral and written communication skills and customer service skills

· Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
