Key responsibilities:

• Communicate with sales resources to understand current client needs.

• Liaise with internal engineering resources to understand the current and future capabilities and capacity of the network.

• Engage with current and prospective client contacts to understand their organization’s needs and recommend the best products and services to meet their objectives.

• Assist in closing complex data sales with large enterprises and carrier/wholesale accounts.

• Act as a Business Account Manager, ensuring the company continues to meet the needs of individual clients.

• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of complex data sales.

• Build rapport and trust with the IT staff within large enterprise and carrier clients.

• Provide coaching and training to staff to help them understand and communicate technical issues and network trends.

• Foster rapport and trust within the engineering team and assist as needed to improve the overall service delivery processes and implementations.

• Achieve KPIs including lead flow, qualified opportunities, discounts applied/margins, and retention rate.

• Provide technical expertise and assistance to client IT staff and end users as needed.

• Represent the company at community events as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Product/Sales Management role, preferably in the MSP industry.

• Proficiency in technical talk is essential.

• Proven experience in Change Management.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to provide technical support and consultation to various stakeholders.

• Expertise in technical consulting is a must.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically about product development issues.

• Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.

• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in product management in the telecom services industry.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and trends into product strategies.

• Ability to travel as needed for product development and client meetings.
