Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Candidates will diagnose trouble, plan, and perform all mechanical operations necessary to modify, dismantle, repair, overhaul, and rebuild all types of machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.

• Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility.

• Operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, and preventative maintenance tools.

• Document completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer software as necessary.

• Diagnose complex equipment failures.

• Work from drawings, verbal instructions, or sketches.

Work Environment

Onsite with multiple shifts available: 1st shift M-TH 6am - 4pm, with potential OT on Fridays starting at 6am; 2nd shift (either Sunday-Wednesday 1pm - 11pm) OR (Wednesday - Saturday 1pm - 11pm); 3rd Shift M-TH 10pm - 6:30am. All candidates will train on 1st shift for 30-60 days. Must be able to cope with the Iowa climates, enduring heat and cold conditions in the building. Fast-paced workloads and loud noise levels are very common.

The pay range for this position is $47000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
