Description:

This is an Administrative role running reports, manipulating data points, analyzing scheduling and other clinical data.

REQUIRES LOCAL RESIDENCY FOR ON-SITE CONNECTICUT-BASED POSITION

Position Purpose

The Clinical Data and Information Analyst is responsible for the compilation and entry of various clinical, financial and other highly sensitive operational data and statistics for internal and regulatory reporting. Heavy interaction within the Clinical Staff Scheduling System (Kronos).

What you will do

  • Compile information from various resources and databases to prepare and report accurate information on a regular date basis for statistical/financial reporting including Productivity Tracking Analysis, Vacancy Snapshot, Constant Observation reports

  • Research multiple database sources to obtain pertinent data for the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI)

  • Create accurate reports and disseminate appropriate information for Premier benchmarking, restraint, hand washing and other databases. Assures data is accurate and reporting deadlines are met

  • Responsible for tracking, follow-up and reporting compliance of hospital wide mandatory RN Nurse Licensure

  • Coordinate the hiring and orientation process for Contract Nurses

  • Provide training on Kronos time clock use

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA or BS in related field (business or information systems) or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital, insurance company, or other health environment with strong knowledge of staffing concepts
