High Level Job Description:

Our Maintenance Team is an integral part in ensuring all our facilities are proactively well maintained and efficiently operating per all federal, state, local, agency, and other oversight agencies regulations and guidelines, including the physical plant as well as the grounds. To be successful in this role, our Maintenance Assoiciate must be highly motivated and capable with a working knowledge of basic residential and commercial maintenance / repairs. Maintaining a professional attitude always as well as having an attention to detail and quality are critical.

Typical duties include painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and ground maintenance (e.g. snow plowing, property maintenance). This position requires interoffice travel utilizing company vehicles as well as participation in a rotating on-call system.

Candidates must have their own hand tools as well as a clean driving record. They must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Facilities and Maintenance:

  • Perform maintenance tasks as needed including:

  • Painting

  • Carpentry

  • Sheetrock

  • HVAC

  • Basic Plumbing

  • Basic Electrical

  • General Maintenance

  • Snow Removal

  • Other

  • Complete repairs and routine maintenance timely using the most cost effective, right-sized approach aligning with business needs.

  • Assist in maintaining property exteriors and interiors according to leases (if applicable), federal, state, and local guidelines as well as company standards. This includes snow removal and lawn care.

  • Assist in maintaining all department equipment and vehicles according to guidelines and requirements, ensuring proper utilization / required safety protocols, and safely stored when not in use.

    Day-to-Day / Fiscal Operations:

  • Complete and maintain accurate records (both fiscal and operational) for required job tracking and expenses.

  • Manage all projects, including those utilizing outside support to successful completion.

  • Ensure all client damages are tracked, reported, and submitted correctly for reimbursement.

    Retail Maintenance Division:

  • Once formed, participate in a retail maintenance division which will offer maintenance services to similar agencies and those with like functions, including defining the operating model, processes and workflows, budgets, scheduling, invoicing and payments, vendor / supply management, marketing, etc.

    Other:

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Knowledge of many areas of the different trades such as painting, heating, carpentry, basic electrical, basic plumbing, HVAC, etc.

  • Must be available to participate in and respond to on-call emergency calls during off-hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Basic Microsoft Office 365 skills including Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
