[POSITION/TITLE: Job Developer (Durational - 9 months) [DEPARTMENT: WIOA Northwest [SUPERVISOR: Director of Business Services

[JOB SUMMARY: Provides guidance, counseling, support and other employment related services to participants; establish relationships with employers and businesses, promoting the services Provides by American Job Center; Provides follow up services to program participants. Provides all services virtually as needed using zoom.   • Identify employment opportunities and assist program participants with the job search process, including leading job clubs and presentation of workshops.
  • Provides all services virtually as needed using zoom.
  • Create and build new relationships with businesses promoting the services available through AJC/Northwest.
  • Provides follow-up services to program participants that have received intensive or training services, maintaining regular contact with participants.
  • Represent Career Resources, Inc., and AJC/Northwest at events such as chamber activities, job fairs and business expositions. Develop and coordinate such events.
  • Coordinate job fairs, recruitments, and on/off site visits with employers to establish relationships and identify and develop job opportunities for participants.
  • Participate in meetings with the supervisors and Provides updates.

[QUALIFICATIONS: ]{new="" roman="" times=""}

  • Degree in Human Services, Education or Business Management and/or three years of related work experience.
  • Knowledge of the area business environment.
  • Ability to work with and support a diverse customer base.
  • Ability to motivate clients and establish a supportive professional relationship with them.
  • Commitment to assisting consumers in overcoming barriers to achievement and success in their personal and work lives.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communications skills
