Description:

Position Purpose:

The Cafeteria Aide Performs a variety of food service area setup and closing procedures including sanitation duties.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for major sanitation tasks of cafeteria service; assembles and delivers patient trays and or food trucks; assembles and delivers floor stock or requisitions; empties trash cans, sweeps, and mops, performs various sanitation tasks.

  • Assists with order receiving as requested; fills in for stock room person as needed; operates cleaning and dish washing machine equipment, collects, strips, washes and puts away all service ware.

  • Make coffee drinks, smoothies, and know about the desserts being served to customers.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Education : High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service operation.

  • Experience in a cafeteria type food services operation preferred.

  • Ability to pass drug screenings and background check.
