UPMC IT Operations Specialist in Washington, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities:
The IT Operations Specialist is responsible for monitoring all systems within UPMC Washington to ensure proper operation. This role involves processing production shift schedules and various assigned tasks to ensure all daily inputs and outputs are completed as documented. Additionally, the specialist provides first-level technology support and configures PCs and peripherals, including basic support.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide 24/7 first-level contact and direct incoming calls to the correct support group for any onsite departments and offsite locations of UPMC Washington.
Run mainframe batch production (shift-specific; Financials, Materials Management, and Patient Financials).
Monitor Financial, Clinical, and Ambulatory systems.
Monitor environmental and building access systems for the Information Systems building, including UPS systems, fire systems, air-conditioning, and switch closets.
Monitor multi-system interface console.
