Overview
Scope of Responsibilities: Works under limited supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to ensure adequate inventory levels
Job Summary: Responsible for the inventory management, appropriate stock levels and maintaining accurate cost files.
Responsibilities
Job Duties:
Replenish inventory from in-store stock and in coming orders
Assist in the ordering of replacement product from the appropriate supplier
Assist in the management of inventory levels insuring adequate quantities are available to meet customers needs, without maintaining excessive levels
Assist in identifying and returning outdated or over stocked merchandise to the proper source
Update IT drug database as needed
Work with facility management and HD support staff to ensure that accurate cost files are maintained
Perform general housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional and clean department
Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED
Preferred: AS Degree or Higher
Experience:
- Preferred: 2 or more years previous experience in related position
Required (Vermont Employees):
- Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician
Required (Ohio Employees Only):
- Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician
Special Conditions of Employment:
Drug test
Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position
Job Skills Required:
Detailed knowledge of daily drug usage
Basic keyboarding and calculator skills
Strong communication skills
Excellent organization skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Requires the ability to stand throughout the majority of the shift
Limited lifting up to 80 lbs
Attendance Requirements:
Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts
Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
Compensation:
$16.00 - $20.06 an hour
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
