COUNTY OF WASHINGTON Early Intervention Coordinator in WASHINGTON, Pennsylvania

The County of Washington Behavioral Health & Developmental Services Department is seeking applicants for the position of Early Intervention Coordinator. The starting salary for the position is $40,274.69 with a generous benefits package, including family health insurance, retirement contribution, paid time off (vacation and sick) and wellness benefits/activities for both employees and their families. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30-4:30 (rare occasion may work evening/weekend) with minimal travel required. The position helps children between birth to 3 years of age with developmental concerns to receive services free of charge and monitors and coordinates the community services for the families. The position works closely with all Early Intervention providers to assure they are supported and following the procedures needed for fidelity to the program, assists in development of supports and services needed for the children served in the Early Intervention Program, coordinates various parent-child interactive meetings/events, along with outreach to the community partnership, residence, and providers to assure accurate referrals and resources are being provided in Washington County. The position also works closely with the Office of Developmental and Early Learning (OCDEL) for monitoring and evaluations of the providers of the Early Intervention services in the county. Two years of professional level experience in the field of intellectual disabilities and a bachelor's degree is required OR any equivalent combination of experience and training. Please contact the Washington County Human Resources Department with questions about the position at 724-229-5930.
