Naval Sea Systems Command SUPV PROGRAM ANALYST in Washington Navy Yard, District Of Columbia

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Program Analyst in the Surface Ship Readiness Program, Surface Warfare Directorate of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will serve as an Assistant Program Manager (APM) supporting the Bridge Integration Principle Assistant Program Manager responsible for the management, coordination, and execution of systems aligned to the Bridge Integration team. You will formulate, develop, and manage multiple ship class programs which support achievement of challenging program performance objectives and complex program solutions. You will be responsible for the integration and coordination of future bridge design, system integration across the bridge as a warfighting space, and driving toward system commonality across all ship classes. You will lead and manage all issues associated with cost, schedule and performance of bridge integration and associated design projects to ensure applicable systems effectively interface with associated gear in accordance with design requirements. You will analyze and evaluate effectiveness of program requirements throughout the lifecycle. You will develop and implement overall program requirements based on new or revised legislation. You will identify and facilitate potential solutions and evaluates technical, cost, and schedule implications of each viable solution. You will direct and evaluate complex studies and develops new methods and procedures to measure program results, and effectiveness. You will review and prepare program documentation to determine appropriate changes or corrective actions. You will provide a wide range of substantive oral and written presentations and reports to internal and external stakeholders. You will set priorities, prepare schedules for work completion, and ensure the timely performance of satisfactory work efforts. You will evaluate and document employee performance. You will establish work assignments to be accomplished by the employees in the program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector reviewing program functions or activities (e.g. project schedules, contracting, costs, acquisition planning, workload management, improvement initiatives, budget planning and execution, workforce performance, or risk assessments) to develop plans, strategies, or solutions in meeting project requirements for the design, development, integration, sustainment, maintenance, or modernization of shipboard systems on surface ships. Education Additional Information This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-04 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. This position has a control point; thus, the salary range may be capped at GS-15, Step 05, which is equivalent to $185,824. If you're current salary is above this amount, your salary may be matched.
