Responsibilities You will support Assistant Program Managers in the Auxiliary and Special Mission Shipbuilding Program Office (PMS 325) in execution of program oversight of acquisition and production of ships. You will provide analysis of program budget and production execution data and develop updated status and progress metrics for leadership. You will develop of program briefs to support program acquisition reviews, stakeholder briefs, and program manager updates. You will support working groups to resolve Government action items and support shipyard requests. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-02 (GS-11) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: "Providing ship acquisition and project management support for new construction ships." Education Additional Information This announcement uses the Direct Hire Authority (DHA) for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13. This hiring activity, within Naval Sea System Command (NAVSEA) Headquarters, has converted to the Acquisition Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) which is an alternate personnel system. This position has a control point; thus, the salary range for this position is capped at GS-13, step 05 which is currently equivalent to $133,692. If your current salary is above this amount, your salary may be matched. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
