Summary You will serve as a Program Analyst in the SURFACE SHIP READINESS PROGRAM OFFICE of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will support the management of Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE), procurement and installations of Bridge equipment across the Surface Fleet along with cradle to grave sustainment thru disposal. You will support the management of all issues associated with cost, schedule and performance of Surface Ship bridge equipment design projects to ensure applicable systems effectively interface with associated gear in accordance with requirements. You will support the analysis of and defines resource (personnel, financial, equipment, etc.) requirements to ensure program success. You will incorporate financial management principles and techniques in long range planning of programs and designing of objectives. You will assist with the management, coordination, and execution of Surface Ship Bridge Integration Program Management for the effective integration and coordination of future bridge design and system integration. You will assist in providing program management, technical planning along with special studies and analysis supporting Department, Division and overall Navy and Defense needs. You will draft and present written and oral reports, assessments, presentations, etc. providing technical and program direction and addressing complex and sometimes controversial program/project operations. You will analyze and evaluate effectiveness of program requirements throughout the lifecycle. Yu will draft and implement improvement and efficiency strategies for programming, budgeting and procurement based on findings from key program specialists and analyst. You will support program reviews and recommend improvements to production and programmatic deficiencies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band (NH-2) or grade level (GS-11) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing program requirements to support the acquisition, procurement, and integration of ships, ship systems, or Bridge equipment.
