Naval Sea Systems Command LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Washington Navy Yard, District Of Columbia
Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the (NAVSEA 03) Model Based Product Support (MBPS) Program; Cyber Engineering & Digital Transformation Directorate of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will lead the development and implementation of Training and Organizational Change Management efforts in support of new logistics Information Technology (IT) capabilities and applications. You will assist in Acquisition Product Support efforts (Design Interface, Product Support Management, Product Support Strategy development, etc.) for new acquisition IT portfolio. You will assist in IT portfolio management to include cost, schedule, and performance. You will have demonstrated experience in the planning, acquisition, and execution of Product Support strategies for shipbuilding or major weapons system programs. You will formulate technical objectives to support long and short-range performance of logistics products to support delivery of Product Support capability to the Fleet. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating logistical management requirements (e.g., cost, schedule, performance) to support data migration, transition/upgrade of IT capabilities, IT portfolio management, or integrated product support for a shipbuilding or weapons system program. Education Additional Information The NH-04 broadband is equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15 grade levels. This position has a control point; thus, the salary range for this position is capped at GS-15, step 05 which is currently equivalent to $185,824. If your current salary is above this amount, your salary may be matched. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
