Responsibilities You will provide security testing support to include guiding the execution of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and security scanning for projects and systems throughout its life cycle phases. You will create Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) reports to meet information assurance/cybersecurity reporting requirements. You will apply Risk Management Framework (RMF) policies and procedures to obtain/maintain proper authorization for projects and systems. You will support program security analysis to ensure compliance with security protocols. You will execute Cybersecurity program per guidelines (e.g. National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST), FISMA, STIGs, and DoD Information Assurance instructions) to ensure continuity of operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of assigned systems; providing cybersecurity oversight of projects and systems to minimize attack vulnerability. This position is in the Personnel Demonstration Project under authority of Title VII of the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978. The pay schedule and pay band for all Demonstration Project Professional Positions will be DP-1/2/3/4. ADJUSTED: $99,200 - $153,354 (DC 33.26%) This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code Information Systems Security Manager, proficiency level intermediate the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
