Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of products. This role involves leading a team of warehouse staff, optimizing warehouse processes, and maintaining inventory accuracy using SAP, particularly the Warehouse Management (WM) module. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in people management, warehouse management, international shipping and demonstrated experience in using SAP for inventory management and logistics.

Responsibilities

Main duties of the position:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, administration, inventory management, and order fulfillment

  • Ensure timely and accurate shipping of products to customers and other Energizer entities

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards

  • Monitor correctness of data entries / inventory to ensure accuracy and implement actions needed to prevent stock discrepancies

  • Ensures that regular cycle counts are conducted in line with agreed processes and procedures as well as system and physical stocks are aligned

  • Manage international shipping operations, including coordination with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.

  • Ensure all documents for international shipments comply with applicable laws & regulations and that the guidelines received from Trade Compliance team on export regulations (incl. sanctions) are followed within the team

  • Recruit, provide orientation/ onboarding, supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff, ensuring & efficiency targets are met

  • Develop and implement training programs to improve team skills in warehouse operations, international shipping, and SAP usage

  • Foster a positive work environment focused on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs

  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and ensure warehouse operations are compliant

  • Any other duties associated with the position as and when required.

What we are looking for

Candidate Profile (Skills, Knowledge and Experience required):

  • Previous Warehouse Management experience

  • Experienced SAP user

  • Experience of Export/Customs documentation preparation

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Numerate and analytical

  • Excellent PC skills – Excel/Word

  • Good attention to detail & time management

  • Flexibility, Willingness to learn
