Job Description:
The duties of the Senior Business and Financial Operations Specialist (Power Platform and SharePoint Specialist (Financial Analyst Excel and SharePoint)) include, but are not limited to, assisting the CG-834 staff with:
• Developing, running, and analyzing financial reports, procurement reports, training reports, logistics reports and metrics.
• modernization/sustainment objectives.
• Establish and maintain working agreements and governance (MOU/MOA/SLA) with CG Common Core customers to facilitate integration of financial synergies and efficiencies.
• Assist with maintenance of CG Common Core configuration control board
• Developing, managing, maintaining, and updating SharePoint pages, process tools, workflows, training, and performance metrics on the CG Common Core consistent with standardized processes, best practices, and target audiences
• Developing, managing, maintaining, and posting performance metrics using FMPS data captured from CG Common Core, Financial System Modernization Solution (FSMS – Oracle R12), and the Coast Guard Data Warehouse (CGDW - SAS Viya)
• Develop and maintain CG Common Core briefing material including an updated coversheet/summary of transactions and impacts (Familiar with PowerPoint)
• Familiar with the Financial Resource Management Manual (FRMM) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Skilled in SharePoint development processes, software, and tools
• Familiar with various Business Intelligence tools including CG Business Intelligence (CGBI), Power BI, Tableau, and Oracle Business Intelligence
• Other duties, tasks and projects as assigned
Experience Requirements:
• 10 to 14 years of experience
Desired Experience:
o Coast Guard policies, systems, and procedures for automation
Certification Requirements:
Desired Certifications
o Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
o CDFM
o CGFM
