The Building People Trainer ANSI/BOMA A65 - Hybrid in Washington, District Of Columbia
The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Trainer with ANSI/BOMA A65 expertise.
Oversee the current suite of training courses, ensuring that all materials, including trainer's notes, session plans, visual aids, and handouts, are regularly reviewed and updated.
Craft, refine, and refresh training modules and resources, such as visual aids, tailored to the technical processes unique to our manufacturing operations.
Assess the impact of training initiatives and implement enhancements to boost their effectiveness.
Identify the most effective method for delivering training on specific topics.
Partner with the training team and department leaders to pinpoint training requirements and devise bespoke programs that elevate staff performance.
Guarantee that all training endeavors align with industry benchmarks and organizational protocols.
Facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars on a range of technical topics, including the operation of machinery, adherence to safety standards, and quality assurance measures.
Evaluate trainees' proficiency and knowledge, making informed decisions about their competency and suitability for roles based on these assessments.
Operate and keep the Training Management Software up to date.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university pr college
2 years experience preparing course material on the subject area of building measurement and conducting site and facility surveys.
Abiltiy to craft, refine, and refresh training modules and resources, such as visual aids, tailored to the technical processes unique to our manufacturing operations.
Ability to assess the impact of training initiatives and implement enhancements to boost their effectiveness.
Ability to facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars on a range of technical topics, especially with measurement standards.
Preferred:
Familiarity with the ANSI/BOMA Z65 measurement standards

Ability to meet Federal & DoD Government security background checks, HSPD-12, Fingerprinting, plus agency-specific screening.
Ability to operate within a NIST 800-171 compliant security environment internally and able to support all client-required cyber security data and operational processes. Value and protect company, colleague, and customer data.
2+ years successfully working from home or a remote location, with minimal supervision. Environment must provide adequate workspace and high-speed internet connectivity.
Travel may be required for this position based on the company needs of the more remote hiring areas.
