Department Of Energy Supervisory Management and Program Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia
Summary This position is part of the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will conduct space planning and renovation analyses, propose recommendations for improvements in office workspace efficiency, project manage EERE headquarters facilities and logistics projects, and oversee customer service engagement, tracking response time statistics, identifying areas of concern, and developing project status and trend reports as requested. Responsibilities As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will: Serve as a supervisor exercising a full range of supervisory responsibilities in directing staff, evaluating performance, effecting serious disciplinary measures, decide on non-routine and costly training, etc. Interpret, review and analyze broad policies, regulations, procedures, and system(s) requirements promulgated by higher authority to determine their impact on local operations and is responsible for their effective application and for developing adaptation and implementing guidance. Provides advice and guidance for improvements and anticipates areas of concern. Approve and implement plans, policies, and programs related to business operations services; formulate and implement overall policy and programs that meet mission, goals, and objectives. Ensure the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy is following all Departmental and Administrative rules, regulations and policies related to workspace management. Implement and execute standard processes and procedures that govern organizational oversight. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following: Providing oversight and direction of work performed and executed in a high paced environment. Providing strategic business advice to Program Offices on a wide range of complex workforce policy or program matters Leads and/or coordinates implementation of workspace planning projects, workspace configuration and moves, and special projects as assigned. Develops and manages project plans, schedules, budgets, and performs senior leadership level briefings. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Time-in-Grade: Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement to receive consideration.
