Position Overview:

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dynamic, client service- driven professional to spearhead the management and execution of integrated, cross- platform thought leadership programs, delivering value and amplification for brands through custom content, live events, syndicated and bespoke research products, and digital articles.

The Chamber ’ s P artnerships team works directly with c hief m arketing o fficers (CMOs), c hief c ommunications o fficers (CCOs), and their teams of major global brands. The Partnerships team identifies synergies between the brands’ marketing and reputational objectives and the Chamber’s policy expertise .

The s enior m anager will oversee partnerships from commitment through execution to renewal and growth. The ideal candidate will possess a creative and analytical mindset focused on driving ROI and exceeding KPIs , outstanding project and client management skills, and a nuanced executive presence with comfort navigating complex negotiations and programs .

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the project manager for all assigned partnerships, coordinating with both internal stakeholders and external clients .

  • Collaborate with the E vents, E ditorial, D igital, and C ommunications teams to manage the full life cycle of partnership content elements, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with a business impact.

  • Develop customized KPIs for each partner to define success, demonstrate value, and exceed expectations while charting progress against strategic goals.

  • Drive the development and implementation of an integrated and strategic revenue plan to expand existing accounts; negotiate new opportunities and renewals with existing partners and proactively seek new partnership opportunities.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 – 8 years of high-level account management or project management experience; media, agency, or events background preferred.

  • Deep experience leading PR, advocacy, or thought leadership campaigns , including management of multiple vendors and internal stakeholder groups. Additional experience managing events and overseeing event sponsorships preferred .

  • A s trategic and analytical thinker, capable of understanding complex opportunities and adept at detailed partner management and execution.

  • An u nwavering commitment to exceptional client service.

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills .

  • Ability to handle challenging conversations with grace and diplomacy, including C- suite negotiations and meetings.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Eagerness to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at managing complex and evolving program and policy elements.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including strategic decision making and the capacity to motivate and drive results through collaborative team efforts.

  • An interest in policy and politics with a solid understanding of the Chamber’s work and value .

  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint .

  • Familiarity with InDesign or other creative platforms.

    The salary range for this position is $85,744.00 to $100,000.00, with the possibility of additional compensation through a discretionary bonus. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
