Pay : $50/hr on w2

We are seeking a highly skilled contract associate manager to join our legal and commercial services team. As a contract associate manager, you will work alongside sales and delivery teams to manage contracts throughout the entire contract lifecycle. Your role will focus on maximizing value for all parties by providing high-quality advice and support for negotiation, drafting, and ongoing management of client contracts. You will apply your commercial and contractual expertise to drive the delivery of legal and commercial outcomes, including sales growth, revenue protection, margin improvement, and compliance with contract obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership/Engagement:

  • Lead and support contract management teams across various projects and accounts.

  • Collaborate with account leadership and client stakeholders to understand and support client needs, strategy, objectives, and opportunities.

  • Provide input into performance management activities for contract management staff across multiple projects.

  • Identify, escalate, and resolve commercial and contract risks, working closely with project leadership to achieve the best outcomes.

  • Engage in pre-award sales activities, including contract drafting support and discussions on potential deal-shaping with sales teams and business leadership.

  • Contracting, Drafting, and Negotiation:

  • Lead the drafting and review of contractual documents such as Statements of Work, Change Requests, Arrangement Letters, Subcontracts, and Non-Disclosure Agreements.

  • Collaborate with internal organizations under the direction of a contract management lead.

  • Observe and/or participate in contract negotiations.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in contract management.

  • Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with client executives at all levels.

  • Basic understanding of commercial contracting regulations, principles, subcontracting practices, and terms and conditions.

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Membership in professional organizations like the International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM) or the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) is considered a plus.
