Public Buildings Service Realty Specialist in Washington, District Of Columbia
Summary As a Realty Specialist, you will serves as the Agency expert and works independently on the National Customer Development program and is responsible for supporting the strategic planning of real property utilization and disposal processes. Location of position: Realty Services Division, Office of Real Property Disposition, Public Buildings Service, Washington DC. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. Responsibilities Coordinates RPD’s Federal Real Property Workshops to facilitate in-depth communication, information sharing, partnerships and improved asset management strategies with emphasis on the regional and district level. Develops and executes annual plans for workshops. Interfaces with all business lines within GSA as well as other Federal Agencies on matters including but not limited to Federal Real Property Asset Management, Federal Real Property Council and Federal Real Property Profile. Coordinates customer outreach and asset management opportunities; develops materials to facilitate utilization, customer outreach and customer service. Coordinates stakeholder outreach initiatives, including roundtables and training related to real property asset management, MOU development and other marketing and outreach opportunities. Maintains engagement with transactional stakeholders. Documents best practices and lessons-learned on all customer agencies' and regions' properties and activities. Interprets policies, practices and guidelines to users and stakeholders interested in real property asset management. Collaborates with staff and management in preparing and presenting briefing and presentation materials for all audience levels within the Government and private sector. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Specialized experience is one year of experience equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience related to the management of programs for the utilization and disposal of real property. Such experience must demonstrate a level of experience equivalent to conducting real property asset utilization reviews and developing real property disposal strategies.
