Job Title: Quality Control Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee a $6M interior renovation of two secured spaces at a Navy Research Lab in Washington, DC. The project encompasses mechanical, electrical, and general construction aspects. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee the day-to-day operational side of the project, review the scope of work, uphold quality standards, and provide progress updates in meetings.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the project.
Review the scope of work and ensure quality standards are upheld.
Provide progress updates in meetings.
Oversee multiple subcontractors on site.
Essential Skills
Quality control management experience.
OSHA 30 certification.
USACE QCM certification.
QCM certification.
EM-385 certification.
Experience in managing and overseeing construction projects.
High communication skills.
Ability to oversee and manage multiple subcontractors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Large commercial construction experience is required, with 3-4 years of federal project experience preferred.
Technical proficiency in construction management.
Must have citizenship of U.S.
Work Environment
Work will be performed on-site at the Naval Research Lab in Washington, DC. The team will include a Project Manager, Superintendent, and Assistant Project Manager working alongside the Quality Control Manager. The company is well-established, works strictly on federal contracts, and takes care of its employees.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $57.69
