Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the position include:
Apply quantitative methods and techniques to manage and analyze research data
Construct, clean, and document large datasets for both internal and project-related use
Conduct literature reviews of technical and professional publications
Create customized and presentation-quality reports from data analysis results
Participate in the design of research studies
Manage administrative aspects of projects
Support the preparation of technical procedures and reports
Write, compile, and edit assigned portions of proposals and project reports
Review work products to ensure quality and consistency of content
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related quantitative analytics field with a minimum of 2 years quantitative research experience in health policy or a related field, OR Masters degree in quantitative analytics field, health policy, public policy, or public health
Knowledge of data analysis and data management techniques
Python programming
Experience with statistical packages like SAS is preferred but not required
Experience analyzing Medicare, Medicaid, or other commercial claims data preferred but not required
Proposal and report preparation experience is preferred but not required
Skills:
Quantitative research skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to learn quickly, take direction, and work independently
Ability to take collaborative and consultative approaches to resolve issues
Creative, professional, and able to take initiative
Disclosures:

AIR’s Total Rewards Program , is designed to reward our staff competitively and motivate them to achieve our critical mission. This position offers an anticipated annual salary of $80,000-95,000. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the institution and external equity with competitive markets. Please note this is the annual salary range for candidates that are based in the United States.
