Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager to support a six-year-long interior substation construction project. The Project Manager will be responsible for driving projects to completion on time and within budget, coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities, and organizing and maintaining project contract documents. This role requires preparing construction schedules, assisting in the coordination of quality control and safety procedures, and reviewing and processing all MEP subcontractor RFIs.
Responsibilities
Drive projects to completion on time and within budget.
Coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities.
Organize and maintain project contract documents.
Prepare construction schedules.
Assist in the coordination of quality control and safety procedures.
Review and process all MEP subcontractor RFIs.
Essential Skills
3-7+ years of MEP industry construction experience.
Strong project management skills.
Experience in construction management.
Familiarity with RFIs, contract compliance, and project coordination.
Experience with change orders and estimation.
l Skills & Qualifications
Project Manager OR Experience as an Assistant Project Manager (APM) ready for a Project Manager (PM) role.
Background in supporting MEP projects with a large General Contractor (GC).
Utility construction background is a plus.
Work Environment
This role is primarily onsite in DC, with approximately 75% of the time spent on the project site and 25% in the DC office. The work environment includes working on construction sites and office settings, with a focus on quality control and safety procedures.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00
