Summary The Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) is seeking a Program Specialist. You will play a critical role in advancing our mission to support and promote small businesses in the federal government. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the OSBP metrics dashboard, applying a range of qualitative and quantitative methods to improve the program effectiveness, and supporting the development and communication of brand strategy to enhance our public and outreach efforts. Responsibilities Plan, implement, and manage the Office of Small Business Programs metrics dashboard, ensuring accurate, up-to-date data collection, analysis, and reporting. Work with stakeholders to define relevant performance metrics and continuously improve the dashboard's effectiveness in tracking program outcomes. Research and apply a range of qualitative/quantitative methods to identify, assess, to improve products and services. Use statistical tools and data analytics to generate insights to drive decision-making processes and enhance program effectiveness. Support the development and implementation of brand strategies to ensure consistency across all communication platforms. Identify opportunities for brand building and contribute to strengthening the organization’s presence and public perception. Utilize a broad range of subject matter practices, laws, regulations, policies, and precedents to analyze program performance and identify solutions. Use a variety of analytical methods to evaluate program and recommend appropriate solutions. Work closely with leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders to drive program improvements. Participate in meetings and provide expert advice on program-related matters. Foster a culture of engagement, diversity, inclusiveness, excellence and innovation. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Reviewing and analyzing data, providing recommendation for program decisions; Participating in the development and communication of effective strategies to ensure consistency and identify areas for brand building; Utilizing analytical tools (e.g., power BI) to assess program effectiveness and propose solutions.
