Overview :

AIR’s Institutional Development (IDT) team is seeking an IDT Program Manager t o join its innovative group. This position reports to the Vice President, Institutional Development Team.

As an IDT Program Manager, your primary role will be to work with the IDT leader in supporting their projects, initiatives, and risk management. This role is an essential player. Communication and collaboration are critical in our work with the cross-functional global teams at AIR.

Candidates hired for the position may work remotely within the U.S. (this does not include U.S. territories) or can work at any AIR DC, MD, or VA office location.

Responsibilities

The IDT Program Specialist will be responsible for the following activities:

  1. Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate and support multiple enterprise strategic initiatives to progress work, provide clear communication horizontally and vertically throughout the institution, and move and coordinate efforts along where there are gaps. Document, develop and deliver insightful data-driven presentations.

  2. Institutional Development: Monitor our business landscape, keeping up with trends and watching for anomalies. Utilize research to provide informative data analysis essential to consideration of business opportunities.

  3. Enterprise Risk Management: Collaborate with divisions and units to discern and mitigate risk. Collect and analyze information and data, develop accessible and effective reports for executive and Board review and consideration.

  4. Project/Program Management: Lead and manage projects/programs from inception to completion. Build strong relationships with various teams to influence project priorities and delivery.

  5. Other assigned tasks could include financial reporting, budget monitoring, facilitating meetings, and communication of project status.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with at least 5 years of relevant experience or MBA with at least 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Proven experience in business analysis and project management within the finance, accounting, business systems, or business intelligence fields.

  • Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn to develop solutions using artificial intelligence.

Skills:

  • Effective communicator with the ability to work with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds in a virtual work environment.

  • Strong financial and systems acumen with proven experience thinking strategically while also managing. tactical execution with a focus on accuracy and high-quality on all work deliverables.

  • Adept in a fast-paced environment to manage multiple concurrent deliveries.

  • Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a focus on details.

  • Strong business acumen, consultative, and leadership skills.

  • Build and cultivate strong partnerships.

  • High level of integrity and trustworthiness in handling sensitive data.

  • Demonstrated ability to work well independently, and collaboratively as needed.

  • Excellent presentation skills - from small to large audiences.

  • Proficient using standard Microsoft 365, including OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint, and AirTable.

Disclosures:

AIR’s Total Rewards Program , is designed to reward our staff competitively and motivate them to achieve our critical mission. This position offers an anticipated annual salary of $98,000 to $104,000. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the institution and external equity with competitive markets. Please note this is the annual salary range for candidates that are based in the United States.
