Koniag Emerging Technologies LLC is seeking a highly accomplished and experienced Program Assistant/Program Specialist Level V to provide strategic support to program activities and assist in coordinating the implementation of complex projects within a portfolio. This advanced position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of ten years of experience in a relevant field, along with demonstrated abilities in working on multifaceted projects and navigating intricate policy issues within overall guidelines. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of international narcotics and law enforcement issues, are essential.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

The Program Assistant/Program Support Specialist Level V will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Provide strategic and expert support to program activities, assisting in coordinating the implementation of complex and high-priority projects within a portfolio.

• Draft and develop comprehensive success stories, briefing papers, talking points, and high-level presentations for senior management review and use.

• Manage and maintain comprehensive program files, records, and tracking systems for reports and documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established protocols.

• Conduct extensive research and in-depth analysis to compile comprehensive information, reports, and statistical data regarding the supported program, ensuring relevance, accuracy, and actionable insights.

• Support senior officials in coordinating and addressing complex policy issues relating to the portfolio, providing subject matter expertise, strategic recommendations, and policy guidance.

• Assist in managing and overseeing program budget formulation processes, including conducting detailed analyses of budget proposals, preparing comprehensive justifications, and developing high-level memoranda for presentations to OMB and Congress.

• Evaluate program effectiveness and impact in relation to the funding expended for regional programs, providing in-depth analysis, strategic recommendations, and actionable strategies for improvement and optimization.

• Coordinate and lead logistical support for office outreach projects, ensuring seamless execution, successful outcomes, and alignment with program objectives.

• Perform advanced administrative duties as required to support program requirements, serving as a subject matter expert and valuable resource for the team.

Requirements:

Education:

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• For a position in the U.S., must be a U.S. Citizen or legal U.S. resident; for a position outside the U.S., any citizenship (U.S., Third Country National (TCN), and Local National (LN)) is allowable.

• Knowledge of and demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

• A minimum of ten years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in program management, policy analysis, strategic planning, or a related role.

• Demonstrated ability to work on complex and multifaceted projects, navigate intricate policy issues within overall guidelines, and exhibit a high level of subject matter expertise.

• Exceptional skills in oral and written communication, sufficient to draft high-level action and information memos, congressional testimony, press guidance, and other critical correspondence for senior management and stakeholders.

• In-depth knowledge of international narcotics and law enforcement issues, regulations, best practices, emerging trends, and strategic considerations.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
