FANNIE MAE Portfolio Management Lead - Multifamily COO (Flexible Hybrid) in Washington, District Of Columbia
Job Description As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice and team guidance on managing several projects and/or products to meet organizational goals. In this role, you will make decisions on requests for resources, and collaborate with management to define timing, scope, priorities, risks, and opportunities. You will coordinate with other teams to ensure support of the portfolios.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The MF COO - Portfolio Management - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
Support MF PMO in conducting analysis and reporting for various efforts such as Capacity Base Planning and Work Alignment Framework.
Summarize and conduct feature analysis, Jira board management, and facilitation of weekly standups and working sessions.
Contribute and when needed lead the development of new reports and working with various stakeholders to implement them.
Weekly monitoring and responding to new project requests and feedback on the tools.
Prepare reports for senior leadership.
Provide support to key stakeholders and the Multifamily PMO by developing and maintaining all performance dashboards and preparing reports to be submitted to project teams.
Manage special projects.
Be able to jump in to assist other areas of the Multifamily PMO when needed.
Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences:
At least 4 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize large amounts of data is a must
Ability to work with all levels of the organization, from scrum teams to senior leadership, including areas outside of the Division.
Must understand financial aspects of Agile practices (Epic, Value Stream, ART, Scrum) in a business context and be able to explain same to non-financial resources
Strong sense of urgency, good organizational skills and attention to detail, with a creative approach to solving issues
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment
Demonstrated ability to work with and challenge business contacts to interpret issues and properly apply business principles in reporting
Must be able to examine detailed information but tailor messages to audiences with different levels of knowledge and requiring different levels of detail
Work independently in constant changing environment
Desired Experiences:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or a related field.
PMP Certification preferred
4-10 years of related experience.
Product development experience
Awareness of internal audit best practices and experience
Familiarity with mortgage and banking industry, or even better Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac experience
Familiarity with working in an Agile environment. Some knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices, and use of Jira and Confluence
Working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft OneNote, Tableau (run reports), and Plan.
