We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal in the District of Columbia. The role is a long-term contract employment opportunity in the legal industry. The selected candidate will be working in an office environment and will have a critical role in handling legal research, managing subpoenas, and performing general legal administrative tasks. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and compile a memo with the research summary.

• Handle subpoenas and privilege logs with proficiency and accuracy.

• Perform general legal administrative work as assigned.

• Set up virtual meetings on platforms like Zoom.

• Utilize word processing and spreadsheet software effectively for various tasks.

• Respond to phone calls professionally and promptly.

• Assist in checking and sorting mail.

• Draft legal documents and agreements as needed.

• Maintain and organize legal files and forms.

• Assist in managing legal matters and correspondence.

Requirements • Must possess skills or experience as a Paralegal

• Must have experience in drafting legal documents and legal agreements

• Knowledge of Subpoenas is required

• Familiarity with corporate legal matters and legal contracts is essential

• Proven experience in handling legal correspondence and legal descriptions

• Ability to manage and maintain legal files and forms

• Must have experience or knowledge in legal research

• Experience as a Legal Assistant is a plus

• Proficiency in creating and editing legal briefs

• Must have a solid understanding of legal documentation and legal matters

• Knowledge in legal forms and legal knowledge is required.
