FANNIE MAE Multifamily Operational Risk & Data Senior Associate (Hybrid) in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to risk monitoring and reviews for the organization, coordinate risk mitigation activities, and provide risk mitigation assistance to other groups.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Multifamily Operational Risk and ; Data Senior Associate (Hybrid)role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Assist in driving systems solutions for monitoring of Lender Operational Risk

  • Document and report on processing or analyzing large amounts of data efficiently using general knowledge of systems.

  • Contribute to operational risk analysis , which may include consuming large amounts of data and creation of reporting.

  • Assist with translating the results from data analysis for the business into understandable conclusions.

  • Assist developers and business architects to translate business requirements into technology requirements.

  • Willingness and capability to learn about operational risk in the multifamily business to facilitate use of systems.

  • Monitor and identify risks to a group or the organization.

  • Coordinate risk activities across groups.

  • Analyze risks and collaborate with team to develop solutions.

  • Partner with teams and business groups on risk mitigation strategies.

  • Implement plans or decisions to avoid risks or mitigate their impact.

Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 2 years

Skills

  • General understanding of programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages

  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal

  • Experience with the housing market, Multifamily knowledge is a plus

  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions

  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and interacting with people to ensure successful project completion

  • Ability to solution ideas from analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process

  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data

  • Partake in meetings and be able to absorb information and take ownership of completing next steps that arise from conversations

  • Identify and raise issues as they arise

Tools

  • Skilled in SQL

  • Skilled in Tableau

  • Skilled in Excel

  • Experience using APIs for developing or programming software

  • Skilled in Python object-oriented programming

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent

  • Skilled in MySQL

  • Knowledge of coding
