Meta Motion Graphics Designer in Washington, District Of Columbia

Summary:

Meta is looking for a motion graphics designer, on the Communications Content Studio. Content Studio is responsible for building consumer facing storytelling communication channels across all social media, Communications outreach and company wide events.

Required Skills:

Motion Graphics Designer Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for building graphic systems across all types of social marketing initiatives and event keynotes.

  2. Create proof of concepts through creative development and execution.

  3. Scale projects into multiple formats, developing press assets for all parts of motion design for Content Studio projects from end-to-end in collaboration with art directors and designers.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years experience as a motion designer.

  2. Experience running projects solo or working as part of a team with other motion designers.

  3. Experience working at an animation studio or multimedia company where animation is a component of the work.

  4. Experience that shows knowledge film production and post-production.

  5. Experience developing motion design projects across a variety of styles and techniques.

  6. Experience working with a cross-functional team including creative directors, art directors, copywriters, designers, producers and engineers.

  7. Experience creating proof-of-concepts and prototypes that mix live-action (original content, licensed footage) with animation for internal presentations.

  8. Experience editing on Adobe Premiere to produce hype reels, rips and proof-of-concept material.

  9. Experience creating an After Effects-to-code pipeline for animation.

Public Compensation:

$94,000/year to $142,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
