Job Description
Manager, Political Programs
Fortune 100 information technology company seeking a dependable, highly organized, and proactive Manager, Political Programs to lead operations, logistics, clerical, and administrative duties in company venues. Understanding the importance of the role to the success of the organization, the Manager has a keen eye for detail, strong interpersonal skills, and is committed to curating an excellent event and workplace experience.
Reporting to the Managing Director, Government Affairs, the Manager will greet, assist, and register all visitors; maintain professional appearance of reception desk, lobby area, kitchen, conference rooms, and shared spaces; maintain conference room schedule; arrange internal/external meetings and catering needs; screen calls and take messages; function as a liaison and coordinate service requests with Facilities, property management and/or external vendors; ensure common area office equipment and A/V equipment is operational; assist with basic technical support and A/V requests, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, expedited processing of IT support tickets, escalation of network/data issues; procure office supplies and IT equipment; sort and distribute incoming and interoffice mail and deliveries; manage and track assets, including removal of retired, broken and unused assets; support record keeping duties; maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems; serve as an information source on organization policies and procedures; maintain reception manual, distribution lists, and emergency contact information; keep current on office safety and security guidelines; acquaint new employees with office procedures; facilitate travel arrangements; expense reporting; other duties as assigned.
Additionally, you will be responsible for all event venue operations, logistics, and scheduling; building and maintaining relationships with key event personnel and vendors; developing, organizing, and implementing processes and systems to ensure smooth and efficient venue operations.
The role is approximately 50 percent administration and 50 percent operations. The Manager, Political Programs will be expected to primarily perform their duties as an in-office employee.

Interest in information technology
QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree or equivalent, with 3+ years of related experience
Demonstrated success in an operations, administrative, scheduling, advance, event management, campaign, and / or fundraising role
Strong computer skills and proficiency with A/V equipment
Able to adjust schedule to staff morning or evening events as necessary
Commitment to acting at all times with the highest integrity, including strict adherence to applicable laws and company values, which go beyond legal compliance
Familiarity with PAC Management software strongly preferred
Experience working with Congress is strongly preferred
