Health Advocates Network Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington, District Of Columbia

Health Advocates Network is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Facility in Washington, DC. This is a registry position with our company.

Pay Rate: $35 - $40 / hour

*W2

Shifts Details:

  • Tuesday & Friday 8am-5pm

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinic in Washington DC. As an integral member of our healthcare team, the LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a clinic setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and symptoms

  • Assist healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures

  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed

  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team

  • Educate patients and families on healthcare management and preventive care

  • Maintain accurate and updated medical records

  • Adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Current LPN license in the state of Washington DC

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a clinic setting

  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

  • BLS certification
