Akima Formality Review Clerk in Washington, District Of Columbia
Lockwood Hills Federal is Looking for a Formality Review Clerk to support the LWHDTSV PTS contract.

Responsibilities
Performs Formality Review check of Patents application and issue Filing Receipt or Notice to Applicant and enter appropriate application data into PTO system according to PTO current procedures.
Operates Madras system to capture required information from application images for entry into Pre-exam system (must operate both systems simultaneously). and other Application window such as FREV System & TTS from DTSV…& Clockwise System
Uses PTO procedures to calculate Filing Fee, check Pre-Grant Publication requirements, and application requirements for Examination at a Tech Center.
Quality reviews all work with emphasis on Filing Receipts and Notices ensuring they are corrected before it gets mailed out to applicant on the same date as issuing.
Identifies indexing and scanning errors for correction. Work must be performed with a minimum of Production & Quality Standard as task assigned.
Provides production, hours, and error status reports as required.
Follows established safety, fire and health regulations.
May be assigned to other areas as necessary to reduce backlog, or to assist with increased workload or special projects.
Will be required to refer Government representatives and inspectors to a more senior level worker in order to resolve questions or problems.
Must be courteous and respectful to others.
Keep work areas neat and clean.
Qualifications
One year clerical/administrative experience.
Experience using MS Windows operating environment and performing data entry.
Accurate typing skills at 40 wpm.
High school diploma.
English speaking, reading and writing. Excellent written English comprehension.
Attention to detail at all times.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Desired Qualifications :
Two years clerical experience and/or working with legal documents.
Associate degree.
Above average proficiency in using a personal computer and various software applications.
One year experience in PTO operations.
Physical Demands :
Manual dexterity is required for standing, stooping, sitting (on chairs & floor when necessary), reaching, climbing, and lifting (up to 20 lbs.) on a daily basis.
Eyesight must be correctable to 20/30 in each eye.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Work in an office environment.
