Job Description:

Our work depends on Data Center Sr Manager joining our team to support critical customer business applications and provide services that allow the organization to function. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to coach, mentor and develop direct reports.

HOW A DATA CENTER LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Influence, motivate, and enable others to contribute to the organization's success.

  • Develop clear communication channels with colleagues to review data and make sure that it's accurate.

  • Communicate clearly with vendors to ensure they understand the support required for the organization. Manage a team of 7/24 operations to provide overall datacenter support in hardware and software of server and network equipment.

  • Guide the improvement of processes and procedures on a continuous basis

  • Manage team and staff performance.

  • Manage and handle all types of data within the organization - Supervise maintenance, installation and updates of data center systems, maintain building records and schematics, create policies and rules related to data accessibility and distribution.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience

  • Technical skills:

  • 10+ years of network, system engineering experience in a large scale 24/7 data center environment

  • 2+ years of experience managing staff

  • Demonstrated experience with Mainframe, Unix, Windows Server, enterprise storage, networking equipment

  • 1+ years of experience supervising maintenance, installation and updates of data center systems

  • Demonstrated experience maintaining building records and schematics

  • Demonstrated experience with policies and rules related to data accessibility and distribution

  • Demonstrated experience establishing guidelines for data entry or storage of customer data

  • Demonstrated experience managing the storage, distribution and back up of data

  • Demonstrated experience ensuring compliance with guidelines and government regulations

  • Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.

  • Location: Hybrid
