Position Description:
US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED
CGI Federal is currently looking for Sr. Critical Incident Coordinator with active TS/SCI clearance to support a large project for a federal government client.
This position will be based in Washington DC.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Manage the relationship with end users throughout the lifecycle of critical incidents, ensuring clear communication and timely status updates.
Ensure critical incident notifications are issued to all relevant stakeholders promptly.
Actively monitor and track the status of critical incidents to ensure resolution within the agreed timelines.
Coordinate and lead after-action meetings to assess incident response effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Establish and lead command posts to coordinate and manage the response to major incidents as needed.
Collaborate with technical teams and other departments to ensure swift resolution of incidents and minimal disruption to services.
Prepare and maintain incident reports, including documentation of the incident response process, outcomes, and recommendations for future mitigation.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in incident management, crisis management, or service desk operations.
Strong ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively with end users, technical teams, and executive leadership.
Demonstrated ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure, critical situations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to monitor and track multiple incidents simultaneously.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $154,300.00.
